WHAT WE DO
IPSM managed the Carson City Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page and provided photography for over five years. We covered such events as the death of Deputy Carl Howell in the line of duty in August 2015, and annual events including the Extreme Motorcycle Officers Challenge, National Night Out, Cops and Kids event, and the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial ceremony each May; and posted wanted warrants, runaways and significant arrests, including a targeted campaign seeking public information on a suspect through Secret Witness. Under our management, the page has grown from 360 followers in May 2012 to over 5,000.
In 2017, our focus shifted to launching Carson City Triad, a collaboration between the Carson City’s Sheriff’s and Fire Departments and the Carson City Senior Center. IPSM worked with each department to establish an advisory board and a community council, draw up by-laws and prepare educational events, marketing collateral and public relations campaign.
