Over the past three years, our work with BGCWN has run the gamut of public relations and marketing services. Year one: reputation rebuild and re-establish the Club as the Best Day Care and Best Non-Profit Organization in Carson City in the Nevada Appeal Readers’ Choice Awards. Year two: Focus on telling the stories of the Club’s impact on its representative communities. Year three: Focus on donor relations and fundraising along with strategic impact through programming, including presenting Celebrity Chef Cooking Class series to complement the Club’s Healthy Lifestyles program.
From launching our first public awareness campaign in 2015, IPSM has guided BGCWN through reputation and crisis management, the opening of its brand-new William N. Pennington Teen Center, to fundraising to support building a brand-new clubhouse in Carson Valley. From concept to execution, IPSM managed the Fall Affair, a celebrity chef dinner featuring Chefs Clint Jolly and Josh Deri, managed publicity for the annual Mike Tice Oakland Raiders Celebrity Golf Weekend, and sat on the marketing committee for the Club’s major annual fundraiser, The Luau, managing public relations, creative and ad buys.
In 2017 alone, IPSM garnered 51 media placements for BGCWN (online, print and broadcast) in 11 regional media sources, including Nevada Appeal, Carson Now, Record Courier, Carson Valley Times, Northern Nevada Business Weekly, Nevada Business Magazine, Reno Gazette Journal, KTVN Channel 2, KOLO Channel 8, KRXI Channel 11. Through this exposure, the Club has generated new donors in both cash and equipment contributions, including the new Mike Frezzo Tech Center complete with furnishings and 30 new Chromebooks similar to those used by the Carson City School District.
